Liz Young
Liz Young (also known as LizzieLand with her kids show) is a professional solo violinist, teacher and member of Deep Blue Orchestra (Australia's Got Talent 2011), Mendoza Tango Quartet, Diez Cuerdas, The Smashing Bumpkins and Luminesence. She is one of the world's only Flying and Stilt Walking Violinists and is always striving for the next challenge and adventure with her violins (electric and acoustic). In January 2024, Liz performed at Woodford Folk Festival and Tamworth Country Music Festival where she received a Golden Fiddle Award.
Liz's heart is in connecting with her audience through her music - whether that be a jig to make you dance, a heavy metal solo to make you grin or a soulful tango to make you cry.
